Lucie Vondráčková (born 8 March 1980 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech singer and actress. She is the niece of Czech singer Helena Vondráčková. She played in Czech Lion award-winning film Snowboarďáci. She also gained considerable fame as a pop-singer in the Czech Republic especially for her song Strach.
Lucie Vondrácková comes from a musical family. Her father Jirí Vondrácek is a famous Czech actor, singer, bassist and pianist, while her mother, Hana Sorrosová, is a lyricist and translator.
Lucie attended primary school in Prague. She studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory, and has successfully completed the study of culture studies, with a Master of Arts degree. She earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 2006.[1]
On June 17, 2011, she married Czech International hockey player Tomas Plekanec who plays center for the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League.
